High performance.
PVS-14 Eyepiece and Objectives. From Concept and Design to Mass Production. Every gram engineered, every assembly measured.
TiPO focuses on one system and does it completely: the PVS-14 eyepiece and the PVS-14 objective. Both are developed for low weight without giving up optical performance.
High performance, ultra light eyepiece assembly with full diopter adjustment and a generous eyebox.
Fast f/1.2 objective assemblies with threaded focus and sealed construction, kept light for helmet-mounted use.
Custom manufacturing for PVS-14 eyepiece and objectives, run as eight controlled stages. You can join at any stage, with a concept, a specification or a finished drawing.
Housing interface, weight target, optical KPIs, environment, volume and cost, written into one requirements spec.
Output · Requirements spec, DFM review
Multi-element layout, aspheric optimisation, glass selection, MTF and distortion budgets, Monte Carlo tolerancing, stray-light study.
Output · Prescription, tolerance budget
Lens cells, spacers, thread and O-ring glands, thermal and shock analysis, lightweight housing materials, hard anodise.
Output · 3D model, drawings
CNC prototypes, design verification, first-article inspection and a pilot lot before any tooling is committed.
Output · FAI report, pilot lot
Grinding, polishing, centring and edging. Aspheres by molding or CNC polishing. Surface form checked by interferometry.
Check · Form, scratch-dig, thickness
Broadband multilayer anti-reflection coatings tuned to the image-intensifier response, verified by spectrophotometer.
Check · Transmission, adhesion
UV-cured cementing with centration control, torque-set retaining rings, O-ring sealing and cleanroom handling.
Check · Centration, leak test
MTF, EFL, flange focal distance, distortion and night-vision test-set checks. SPC, lot traceability, certificate per lot.
Output · Data pack, CoC
A light assembly only counts if the image holds up edge to edge. We balance weight against MTF, distortion and flare control, then publish the measured data with every lot.
One programme, one point of accountability, from the first ray trace to the final data pack.
Statistical process control on every critical dimension, serialised lots and a test record that travels with each shipment.
